Our Apartments are Pet Friendly
You don’t need to look far to find pet-friendly apartments in Jamestown, ND. Your pets are an important part of your life, and we welcome them at The Meadows Apartments. We allow up to two dogs or cats per home. Read on to learn more about our paw-approved community.
Pet Policy:
- Pets may be dogs, cats, or birds often let out of their cages. No weight restrictions apply. We do have breed restrictions. Please contact our leasing office for details. Property staff reserves the exclusive right to make the final determination as to the dog breed.
- Pets allowed without deposits: small birds, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish in tanks that are five (5) gallons or less. Deposits are required on large birds, including but not limited to Parrots, Cockatiels, Sun Conures, or other birds often let out of cages.
- The following pets are not authorized: snakes, lizards, sugar gliders, flying squirrels, chinchillas, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians, or venomous animals of any kind.
- All deposits and fees must be paid on or before the date the pet moves into the apartment, and a separate addendum is to be completed and signed as part of the Lease Agreement.
Pet Fees
- There is a non-refundable pet fee of $250 per pet, with a limit of 2 per apartment. The pet fee is non-refundable and does not transfer from apartment to apartment or from pet to pet. Part of this fee covers the cost of Doggie DNA registration, which is required for all dog owners.
- There is a refundable pet deposit of $250 per pet due at move-in.
- There is a monthly pet fee of $50 per pet. No more than two (2) pets are allowed per apartment.
Breed Restrictions include Akita, American Bull Dog, Chow-Chow, Doberman, German Shepherds, Karelian Bear Dog, Mastiff, Malamute, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier, or any mix of these breeds.
Please bring your pet to the office for an “interview.” We like to meet and get to know all our residents, even our four-footed ones! For further details on our pet policy, please contact our office staff.
